What does "ADVENTURE" really mean to you? It is different for everyone. The tour will appeal to all of your definitions of "ADVENTURE". You will see amazing breath taking views, splash it up while white water rafting, Transverse over mountainous terrain on ATV's, Hunt towering waterfalls, and ride some of the best country back roads ever paved. The experience begins at one of the friendliest and largest Harley Davidson Dealer ships (Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson). Here you will meet "ADVENTURISTS" like yourselves and make new friendships. If you have been thinking about buying a new Harley now would be the perfect opportunity to rent the one you're interested in for the week. The thrilling experience of the "ADVENTURE" Tour and the excitement of a new bike is a great combination of fun.
You start this tour out at “Smokey Mountain Harley Davidson” in Marysville, TN. Within an hour you will be riding “Deals Gap” otherwise known as the dragon. The saying goes that sometimes you slay the dragon and sometimes the dragon slays you. It is an 11 mile stretch of highway 129 with 318 curves. (the background map on this page is of “Deals Gap”)From there you will stay at “Iron Horse Motorcycle lodge”. You get settled into your creek side cabin or lodge at this motorcycle resort where hometown hospitality if just simply everyday living. This is where you spend the next 3 nights. From there you ride the “Cherohala Skyway” to “Bald River Falls” and then through the mountains and back up “Deals Gap”. The next day you ride to “Nantahala Gorge” where you go white water rafting with a guide from the “Nantahala Outdoor Center”. After the rafting you ride up a road along the riverside that is lined with waterfalls. All together you see 8 waterfalls. You stop at one of the best ones. The next day you head to Suches, GA to T.W.O. Wheels only which is another motorcycle resort. Part of the ride there is state road 180 which is said to be the twistiest road in GA. Depending on the arrival and once you get situated you will ride across “Blood Mountain” and back across state road 60 which is just an unbelievable ride. (Make sure you click on the link below for “Blood Mountain” to see how it got its name). On the next day you get up, have breakfast and head to Highland, NC for an ATV Adventure. You stay at the “Skyline Lodge and Restaurant”. This is a resort that sits on top of the mountain with great views no matter which way you look. On day 6 you go towards Gatlinburg, TN. You arrive mid afternoon where you have the rest of the day for sight seeing, shopping, eating, whatever you choose to do this afternoon. You stay at an old Inn that sits up on a hill overlooking downtown Gatlinburg. On the last day of the tour you head back to Marysville. Towards the end of the ride you first ride on the top of mountain looking on both sides down into the valley. Once we come of the mountain ridge you ride through one of the valleys you were just looking down into. You arrive at “Smokey Mountain Harley Davidson” to return your rental bike if needed. Lodging for this night (Saturday) is also included so there is no rushing to the airport. Every Saturday night “Smokey Mountain Harley Davidson” has something going on at there first class facility. Just sit back and relax for one more night, talking to your new friends from the week before going back to reality (if you choose to go back).
